• TRedess 5G BROADCAST TRANSMITTERS: After a very active 2026 with several important 5G Broadcast projects & trials deployed with TRedess 5G Broadcast transmitters (Estonia, France, Netherlands, Sweden, Croatia, Lithuania, US, etc), TRedess is presenting at this IBC 2026 some new interesting features allowing DTT network operators to have an easy path for adding the 5G Broadcast capabilities to their networks.

Several demos of TRedess 5G Broadcast solutions will be showcased at IBC, including:

• Showcase a World-first end-to-end implementation of 3GPP Release 19 features for 5G Broadcast, following its successful validation at the 5G-MAG Plugfest in June 2026. This includes the live demos of very important 5G Broadcast features as:
  • Time and frequency interleaving (enhance the robustness of the 5G Broadcast signal against challenging propagation conditions)
  • Higher MCS order (allows the transmission of greater data rates while maintaining the flexibility required to adapt the service to different coverage and channel conditions)
  • CAS-muting (taking advantage of the FEF periods inside the DVB-T2 signal, the CAS-muting makes possible to insert a 5G Broadcast signal on a regular DVB-T2 transmission, allowing network operators to reach additional mobile devices with live content and Emergency Warning System in a very efficient way.

• Live demo of the Advanced Emergency Warning capabilities that extend public alerts with video, images, files and continuously updated information.

• Live demo of Multiple PMCHs & Alternative Bandwidths: Illustrating the flexibility of the 5G Broadcast system to support diverse service requirements. This enables efficient allocation of radio resources and demonstrates the capability to adapt the broadcast configuration to different deployment scenarios and available spectrum.

• Live demo of Video Reception with SA: Demonstrating the end-to-end delivery of broadcast content directly to compatible devices.

• At TRedess booth it will be also possible to see (in collaboration with NAKOLOS) the World-first demonstration of seamless switching between MoQ-based broadband delivery and 5G Broadcast with ultra-low glass-to-glass latency: The solution combines the flexibility of internet distribution with the scale and efficiency of broadcast – while activating broadband delivery only when it is actually needed.
   

• TRedess NEW FOURTH SERIES range of DAB+ TRANSMITTERS AND GAP FILLERS: New DAB+ models and solutions for Low and Medium power, with efficiencies up to 53%, and new DAB+ Gap Filler solution with an outstanding Echo Canceller performance (Gain Margin > 30dB, Multipath Cancellation, Doppler, etc…).
• TRedess improved range of DVB-T/T2 / ISDB-T and ATSC 3.0: New models with improved efficiency, reaching total TV transmitter efficiencies of 42% & improved RF performance and additional functionalities and built in SAT receiver with CAM / BISS, etc.
• TRedess MGNSS Fully Redundant Clock Reference: Very compact (1HU) multiband (L1/L2) and multi-constellation (GPS, GLONASS, GALILEO, BEIDOO) receiver (with 2x receivers + 2x PSU), with PTP, 11 pairs of 1pps & 10MHZ, hot swap modules, seamless operation.
• TRedess MULTI-TX FAMILY: Multichannel family of very compact Low power Transmitters / transposers / retransmitters, with up to 9x UHF channels in 19”x5HUx25com depth, ideal for multichannel sites with very low connectivity.
• TRedess MEDIA CONVERTER: Compact 1HU device that converts from SAT to IP, SAT to ASI, ASI to IP and IP to ASI, with 2x redundant SAT receivers with CAM plus BISS 1/E, with 2 x PSU, etc.
